What hours are the ticket offices open for collecting or buying tickets for Foreigners?

We need to get tickets in Nanning, Guilin and Xian. The train station ticket offices, do they have standard hours accross China, and if so what are they?

In those big cities, like Nanning, Xian, Guilin, the ticket offices in the railway stations offer 24-hours service. You can buy tickets at any time.
