About:China Family Reunion Visa

Family reunion with grandfather

Hi, I want to stay in China to take care of my grandfather (mothers' side) for a half year. He hold a Dutch passport with a permanent residence permit. Is it possible for me to apply for a visa with type Q1 or Q2? And if yes, how can I proove that he is my grandfather. The name of my grandfather is not written on my birth certificate. If I can't apply for the visa with type Q, what would you suggest?

Hi, as I know, you are able to apply for a Q2 type without problem. An invitation letter from your grandfather is enough.
