About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I am a British citizen visiting Dubai, can I obtain a visa for China at the Dubai consulate.

If I can obtain it from the consulate, which documents do I have to bring and how long will it take? Can I obtain a visa by post? Barry from England

Barry, I am afraid that you may not apply for it successfully because you don't have legal resident permits there. But you might visit the embassy and give it a try. The required documents differ according to which type you are going to apply. Besides, you can't apply for it by post.
