About:Chinese Embassy in India

As a UK citizen, can I obtain a Chinese Tourist Visa while in India?

I am going to be in India soon, and before tavelling onto Laos, Vietnam and Thailand - I was wondering if I would be able to obtain a L type for China whilst spending time in New Delhi, India? And if this is a possibility, how long is the process likely to take and cost? Thank you in advance, I really appreciate the help.

I suggest you apply in the UK in advance. There is no guarantee that you will get one successfully in India because you don't have resident status for employment, study etc in India. If you really have difficulties in applying for it in the UK, you can try your luck in Thailand. Many foreigners there successfully applied for Chinese L type.
