About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will I be able to get the visa and tour the city during my layover? sine it's before the 12:00 a.m. on the next day?

I arrive in Guangzhou at 5:40 a.m. and depart the same day at 7:40. It states that the 72 hour will start from the 12:00 a.m. on the next day when you transit Guangzhou Airport.

Of course, you can use 72 hours free transit in Guangzhou. The 72 hours count from 12:00 am, which allows to stay more than 72 hours in fact.
