Dear Sir/MadamI am writing in regards to the Z application process and the customary background check.I am a citizen of Barbados currently residing and working as an ESL teacher (English as a Second Language) in Moscow.I have been selected to teach at a language school in China and would like to know the correct procedure for obtaining my Z.Can I apply here in Russia or do I have to return to Barbados.Also,I need a background check.Can you please tell me the correct procedure for this.Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.Respectfully,Jacqueline Small

Hi, do you mean your employment status in Moscow will finish soon? if yes, you have to apply work Z in Barbados. Anyway, you can try to contact the embassy directly if they accept your application or not. For Chinese Work Z application, you need to firstly get a work permit and official invitation letter. And you need to get a police clearance certificate from Russia before asking your Chinese company to handle work permit for you.
