how early can i start hiking mount huashan?

My husband and I will in Huashan on Sunday May 4, 2014 and we will be staying at Huashan Baolianshe Youth Hostel.  We want to start hiking up the mountain as early as possible to maximize our time on the mountain.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, Vicsecret. I think you can decide your departure time. The entrance to the mountain is not closed and many people choose to climb the mountain at night, so that they can enjoy the sunrise in the early morning. So you can start your journey once your in around 06:00 to 06:30.
