My wife is Chinese and has lost her passport how does she obtain another?

Hi, she should visit the embassy or consulate in person for replacement of passport. Fill an application form, and provide 4 passport photos (48mmx33mm), copy of lost passport if any or her Chinese ID card/Hukou book, original and copy of her US green card or valid visa. Besides, she should provide an covering letter, with details of her personal details, such as her status in US, the details of her passport loss, and old passport data, etc.
