How can I go Lijang from Dali? And Lijang to Shangri-la

I will be stayed in DL ancient city and depart to Lijang. Is it good that I visited the Er Hai and then direct go to Lijang? Any public transport go to Lijang beside of train? How long the public transport and time schedule, where to get the public transport from DL? or have to rent a car?

How can i go to 丽江北门坡紫云巷 from Lijang bus station where I arrived from DL? How many days should spend in Lijang and also shangrila?

From Lijang to Shangri-la, any public transport can recommend? And how is the cost?
Is it good to book a tour instead of self traveling? however, we prefer walk slowly instead of rushing.

It is good to visit the Er Hai and then for Lijiang. There are direct buses from DL Bus Station to Lijiang from 07:00 to around 18:30 with interval around 30 minutes. The bus journey takes about three for four hours.
If you travel with other people, maybe around three to four people, it is suggested to hire a local car. Or if you can find someone to share one car with you, you can rent one.

From the bus station, you can take a taxi to reach the gate of the ancient town and then walk to the lane. The distance is about 3km. If for visiting, I think three to four days in Lijiang and two to three days in Shangrila.

From Lijiang Bus Station, direct buses can be founded to Shangri-la, so please do not worry. The bus fare is around 67RMB or 72RMB depending on the car's type. It is suggested to travel on your own, so that you can travel flexiblity.
