About:Protection and Study

Travel advice for Inner Mongolia.

Hi :-)

My friends and I will visit inner Mongolia in Mid of April. We will arrive in Hohhot on Thursday midday and we are leaving to Beijing Sunday Evening. What could you recommend us to see and do in these short 4 days.

Zhaojun Temple, the Five-pagoda Temple and Dazhao Temple are suggested to visit, because they are famous temple for this city.
Then for the grassland, the Xilamuren Grassland is suggested to have a visit and stay overnight there. After that if you still have time, the Wudangzhao Monastery is a better place to have visit. This monastery used to be the residence of the highest ranking lama in Inner Mongolia.

As for the good and cheap hotels in Hohhot, I know the Jinjiang Inn at No. 61, Xinhua Avenue, Xinchng District and Super 8 Hotel at Xiangtai No. 1, Dongfeng Road, Xihua Avenue. Both of them cost no more than CNY200 for a standard room!
