About:Chinese Embassy in Italy

I'm in the Air Force and was wondering if I can apply for a Chinese visa in Italy with no problems?

I know some Chinese embassies are particular with processing applications for Americans outside of their country of residence. If anyone has done this and has been successful, or know more about it, I would appreciate some details. Thanks in advance!

According to the new rule, the applicants in the third country must provide legal resident permit for employment, study or any other legal status there. I think you should contact Chinese CVASC branch in Italy to confirm this.
