Climb vs Cable Car for Mt. Hua

Hi,

I plan to take the cable car up the mountain to the north peak, then hike to Gold Lock Pass, then to the East Peak, Central Peak and back to the Gold Lock Pass. Will this route take me past the plank walk? How long does it take to hike down the mountain? Am I better getting a return cable car ticket?

Thanks

As I know, your route does not past the Plank Walk. This walk is on the way to the south peak.
For hiking down the mountain, it takes about four to five hours.
In my opinion, you can climb to reach the top and take the cable car to hike down.
For your own situation, since you alreay use the cable car to reach the north peak, you can take the cable car to get down.
