How to go by bus from Badaling to Summer Palace in Beijing? Also from Summer Palace to HuHai (Hutong)?

Take a train at Badaling to BJ North Train Station and then walk to Xizhimen metro station to take local subway line 4 to get off at Beigongmen. After that, you can easily walk to the Summer Palace!

From Summer Palace, you can take subway line 4 at Beigongmen Station to Haidianhuangzhuang, where transfer to line 10 to Beitucheng. There you can take subway line 8 to Shichahai Station. Get out of the station from exit A2 and you can walk to Houhai for hutongs.
