bus service from hong kong to shantou

Question

I am from malaysia i would like to go to ST from hong kong.  Which bus to take and what is the name of the station.Alternatively, I can travel to shenzhen, louhu and take a bus to ST, is that possible? Please advise because I am leaving for Hong Kong from Malaysia on the 3 March.Thank you

As I know, there are direct buses between HK and ST Regency Hotel and they are scheduled at 09:00 and 15:00 every day! The boarding sites are Connaught Road West at Sheung Wan, Waterloo Road at Yau Ma Te of Kowloon and Fanling Station.
