About:Chengdu Transportation

Hi, is there a way to arrive to Chengdu by bus or train from Dongchuan area in Yunnan without having to come back to Kunming?

Yes, there is, but you need to transfer on the way! Take a bus at Dongchuan Bus Station to Zhaotong first and only two buses are in service every day, leaving Dongchuang at 08:30 and 12:30, I remember. Then at Zhaotong Train Station, you can take a direct train to CD city within around 12h.
