Hi, once you get married in the Philippines, you need to apply for authentication of marriage certificate from Chinese embassy or consulate. With an invitation letter from your wife, you and also a copy of her Chinese ID, you are able to apply for Q1 type or Q2 type from the embassy/consulate.

Make sure you go to the DFA first in Pasay city before going to the Chinese embassy.

Forgot to tell you why, the DFA in Pasay city will put a red ribbon and gold seal to authenticate it by PH law and that is required before taking it to the China embassy. You should line up in this long line of people at the DFA first early in the morning. Again, the Chinese embassy can't do anything with your Marriage document until it has been authenticated by the Philippines, Pasay DFA. I have already done this.

She will have to make it by herself in Chinese, it must have your passport number and her Hukou number. Again I want to remind you (because I also married my Chinese wife in Philippines Makati City too.) You MUST go to the DFA in Pasay city and get your Philippines marriage contract a red ribbon and seal before you have any chance to walk into the Chinese embassy.
