About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am flying from Amsterdam to Siem Reap via Guangzhou with China Southern

I am a German passport holder and I can apply my Cambodian Visa upon arrival in Siem Reap. However, do I need an advanced visa if I change my flight in Guangzhou. (stop-ober time is from 6.50 am to 8:45)

Hi, this is not necessary. You enjoy free transit in Guangzhou if you show your passport and ticket for leaving. You can also confirm this with the airline if possible.

Thank you. So far the airline was not able to answer my question. I wrote them several emails and they keep referring me to other services.
