About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Regarding baggage checked in in Guangzhou airport

Im travelling from london to philippines. Will arrive in china GZ airport on april 9 5:50pm and my connecting flight will be april 10 @ 8;30am. Do i need to collect my baggage or will it automatically transferred to my connecting flight?

Hi, Precious.
Do you have the connecting flight or use two flights of one airline company?
If so, in general, you do not need to claim your luggage and then recheck in.
If no, you may need to claim your luggage. In my opinion, you can consult the airline company again to confirm this issue.

You have connecting flights or use the two flights belonging to one airline company?
If meet either of the option above, your luggage will be transfer automatically in general.

But in order to make sure, it is still suggested to consult the airline company directly for exact information.
