Tourist friendly beach resorts around Guangzhou

Is there any beach resorts close by to GZ, which is tourist friendly. I am travelling to GZ with my family & have about 2 to 3 days to spare.

The closest beach of GZ is the one at the bottom of Nansha Tin Hau Palace. You can use the local subway line 4 to reach Jinzhou Station and then take a taxi to reach that place.
Or you can choose to go to some beaches of other cities near GZ, such as Xichong Beach of Shenzhen.
