First time metro - Peoples Square to Shanghai Circus World?

I have visited SH several times but never used the metro. I would like to travel from my hotel near Peoples Square to the SH Circus World. Is this a simple journey (one line, no transfers)? Can you advise on how much time to allow on order to arrive for a show at 19:30 and if the metro is still running (and safe) after the show? I am wondering if it is better to travel by taxi. Thank you.

From the People's Square, you do not need to transfer to reach the Circus World.
From the People's Square Station, you can take the local subway line 1 to reach the SH Circus World Station and then get out of the station from Exit 3 to find it easily.
For the entering time, I think you can find the detail information on the back of the tickets.
Usually, the show is in about 90 minutes, so the subway is still in service after the show.
