About:China International Train Schedule

best train route from Beiging to Mongolia

My flight arrives in Beiging, I would like to go to Harbin and continue to Datung and Kashi and from there to go to Mongolia.
What is the best route and approximately how much it would cost in dollars?
I plan several stay overs along the route. Can you also give some interesting suggestions?
My dates are around June 2014.

Your plan doesn't seem quite right... You are travelling from the far east to the far west with the wrong entry/exit points... better plan it all over again to save both time and money
