About:China Customs Declaration

max cash per person or group

Hi, we have 6 in our tour group to China next month. I assume that is $5000 USD per person and not for our traveling party right? Individually we'll carry less than $5K cash but as a total we'll have more than $5K cash for our month long trip to Asia.

The rules require individual passenger takes less than or equal to 5000 USD. Just make sure that each of you carries less than or equal to 5000 USD and then you won't have a problem.
