About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I wonder if the 72-hour visa applies to me

Currently I am studying in Beijng on a single entry. Before I go back to the US, I want to go to Korea for a couple of days. Since I have my returning from Beijing to the US, can I leave China for Korea, and still be able to come back and leave for the US on the same day?

Yes, of course. You can enjoy free transit in Beijing if you leave on the same day.

Yes, unless you will remain in the airport transit area. But it is ok to if you want to leave the airport, you need to apply a free stay permit showing your passport and flight ticket for leaving.
