beijing airport to raffles hotel by subway with station changes, only using up and DOWN escalator

You can take Airport Express Train to Dongzhimen first, where transfer to local subway line 2 to Jianguomen. Then change to line 1 at the same station without getting out of the metro station to get off at Wangfujing. Get out from exit C and you can easily walk to your hotel within several minutes!

As I know, there are escalators at the Airport Express Train Station, but none at Jianguomen when you tranfering from line 2 to line 1.
