staying one night at the hotel in beijing airport

Hi,I plan to travel to Europe in August with China Air via Beijing. The layover in Beijing is approximately 14 hours (11pm till 1pm next day). If i book a room to sleep in Beijing Jinquan Airlines Hotel or Jingan Express Hotel, do I need visa? Not going anywhere else, only check into hotel and checkout in the morning.Regards, Paul form Melbourne

Hi, you can just apply for a free stay permit after arrival at the airport showing your passport and air ticket. It is easy to get and you can use it to exit the airport for your stay at a hotel.
