About:

can you exchange your pre-purchased train ticket from Shanghai to Hangzhou for a different time of day?

I purchased a ticket leaving SH to hangzhou late at night, and I would like to move it to earlier in the day is that possible?

Surely it is possible. Just change another train ticket at any ticketing office or the local railway station, but you need to pay some service charge.
