About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

We plan to apply as a group for the visas. Does it matter that some people live in Victoria and others in NSW?

We are travelling as a group to participate in dragon boat festivals in china.

Well, actually I think you should apply for individual L type for your dragon boat festival trip. It's likely that you may not acquire the group one because the applicants are usually required to submit their applications to the Chinese consulate in their area.
