About:Hong Kong Trains - High Speed Rail

Fast Train out of Hong Kong

We have never travelled on a bullet (Fast train) and missed out on our previous trip to China.
We are planning to travel to HK some time in April and would like to take a short trip somewhere and back in a fast train, please supply suggestions and prices, also any other visas we may require.
Many thanks
Laurel

You mean you want to take the bullet trains in HK?
If so, I am afraid that bullet trains are not available in HK.
If you really want to enjoy the bullet trains, it is suggested to go to Shenzhen again and take the G-trains from Shenzhen North Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station in about 40 minutes. I took it once and found it pretty nice.

The fare 74.5RMB for the second class seat and 99.5RMB for the first class seat. BTW, if you want to enjoy this line, ticket booking in advance is suggeste.

The visa is not needed to enter HK, but for Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the visa is needed.
