About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Do I need a visa ? Thank you

I hold a Canadian passport. I will arrive in Pudong Int'l airport on 24 Mar 2014 at 3pm and I leave Pudong Int'l airport on 27 March 2014 at 4.20pm.

Yes, you need to apply one before you fly to Shanghai since you stay longer than 72 hours.

Thank you :) So does it mean if I leave on the 26, I don't need one? Or rather, what time / day should I leave in order to avoid getting it. Note that this is not a transit. I am there to attend a fair. Thank you very much once again
