hanging monastery & yungang grottoes

Question

Is it possible to see Hanging Monastery & Yungang Grottoes without a guide in 1 day? Is it hard to get to these locations from the train station and by local city buses??  Also, these two names Hanging Temple and Hanging monastery are the same thing right?How many days do you recomend to see all the major sites in Da tong?

Yes, time is enough, but it is suggested to take a taxi from the Yungang Grottoes to Hanging Monastery. From DT, there is no direct bus to Hanging Monastery. You need to go to the DT Bus Station to take the buses for Hunyuan Town, where you can find the direct buses for the Hanging Monastery. The Hanging Temple and the Hanging Monastery are the same right. For all the attractions, it may takes about two to three days.
