ice festival in harbin

I plan to visit th city for the ice festival near the end of Feb 2015. Spring festival fall on the 19th of feb.2015.Will i be able to visit the ice and snow carving. Will the ice carving melt by then.

To my experience, you can still see the ice and snow carvings then. However, if it may get warm then, they may get melt. I suggest you check ahead the weather forecast before traveling at that time!
