Apply visa to DR Congo from Hong Kong

I am from Hong Kong and I am going to DR Congo. Is it possible to apply visa in Hong Kong? I found that there is no consulate nor embassy in Hong Kong.

I think you need to apply from the DR Congo's embassy in Beijing if there is no consulate in HK.

Thank you for the information. I have visited the above address, and tried to called embassy in Singapore, and found that the embassy in HK has been moved out of HK for 10 years. The address from internet is outdated, Asians can only apply visa to DRC either from Beijing or India.

Hi Rachel. First you friend need to make sure which Congo is he/she going. If Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), you have no way to get a visa in HK. The embassy or consulate has been moved out so Asians can only apply the visa at embassy in India or Beijing. You can look for a agent in China to help applying a visa. If your friend is going to Republic of Congo, there is a consulate in HK, you may find the address and tel from above reply – 27931313, 40th floor, 118 Connaught Road West, Hong Kong. I have visited there so the information is correct. You may first call them and ask about the procedure before visiting the place. Hope it helps!

You may look for an agent in mainland China to help you applying a visa. But it means you have to give a copy of your passport to the agent...and as you mentioned you are going to DRC in August....you have to hurry. If you will go to other African country before entering DRC, you may try visiting the embassy of DRC in there....good luck.

Do you know any agent in China help getting the RDC visa? I will go in Sept, same case, cant find any way to do that in HK.

How long does it take if I go Beijing once to get it?
