Ticket buy

Hello,

May I book the ticket with my ID card not with passport?
I would like to buy ticket for D3101 Shanghai – Ruian if I pay it at booking is my ticket guaranteed?

Generally, if you use your ID card, then you should use your ID card to book rail tickets all the time, the passport is with the same situation. Either is ok as long as they are all valid. The tikcets availability is not 100% guaranteed but it should be no problem. You can contact your provider to check this. Good luck!
