About:Huangshan Travel Tips

Taxi from Tunxi to Huangshan (and back)

Hi,

I will be visiting HS this weekend. I was planning on taking a taxi from the train station to the scenic area. I don't speak Chinese however, where should i ask the taxi driver to take me?

Then on the return, how easy is it to take a taxi from the entrance of the scenic area back to HS (this time to the airport?) - i don't want to get stuck in the countryside and miss my flight!

Lastly, I read somewhere about path closures, is there anywhere i can find out about these in advance? Will there be signs/maps when i arrive?

You mean the Huangshan Train Station? If so, you can tell him "请送我到黄山风景区门口". You can show the taxi driver this sentence and they can understand your meaning.
From the scenery, the taxi is easy to hire, but it is suggested to order one and it is suggested to ask for help at the service center. They can help you.

For the last question, you want to find some pathes closed?

During your visiting, the West Sea Grand Canyon and Tiandu Summit are closed. You can still consult the staff inside the scenic sport to confirm and the signs inside also will show you where is closed.
