The electricity voltage in China is 220V and 240v in Australia. There is a safty voltage range on your adaptors for your electronic appliance. You should check it carefully. If it supports 220V, then you needn't buy the adaptor. But you should know that different sockets are used in PRC and Australia. So you may bring a plug adaptor (if you have). If you don't have it, you can easily buy one from the Chinese supermarket.
