About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Length of Visa

We are traveling with Viking Tours June 13, 2014. May we obtain it before March 13 (application March 11) or must we wait until the 13th. Also is it current for our entire stay as we do not depart Beijing until June 30, 2014. Thank uou

Hi, a single entry Chinese visa is valid for 3 months only from issue date, so it is too early if you apply in March. Beause it will expire before your travel. So, you should better wait and apply in May.
