Is there a specific volt adaptor you recommend for using US products (Sonicare and hair straightener) in Beijing?

Someone told me it would be cheaper to buy these two products in China, but since I already have them, which volt adaptor is most reliable? Thanks!

If you are worried, I think you should bring your own together with you. You needn't search for them when you come to a city that you are not familiar with.

Thanks, but that doesn't really solve my problem about power adaptors or whatever else is needed to use these items in Beijing. Can anyone advise on this?

Maybe, you needn't buy a voltage adaptor. Every adaptor has its safety voltage range, usually 100 to 240V. If your adaptor is the same as the one I said, then you needn't bring a voltage adaptor. But you might bring your plug socket transformer if you have. Don't worry if you don't have one. You can find them in the supermarkets easily.
