About:China Tourist Visa

Are hotel reservations for whole trip a must have for tourism visa?

We want to start in Hangzhou, but want to be flexible on days. Is that possible?

I don't think so. You just need provide your return air ticket and hotel booking in Hangzhou. I think that's enough.
