There are two buses from Changting Town at 05:25 and 17:00 and the buses run for about five hours.

- What is the bus schedule from Snow town to changting?

- I intend to catch the 9:30 bus from Harbin to Changting, so the bus will arrive in Changting at about 3:00? Will I be able to catch the bus from Changting to Snow Town by then? I heard that the last bus from Changting to Snow Town is at 1:30, if so how can I go to Snow town?

-Do I need to buy the return ticket to Harbin right after I arrive in Changting?

-I cannot find any English websites to book a room/bed in advance

I just have been there once several years ago.
From Changting to the Snow Town, there are three buses at 06:40, 13:30 and 16:50, so I think you can catch the bus at 16:50.
It is suggested to buy the ticket for going back to Harbin upon reaching Changting.
For the buses from the Snow Town to Changting, I did not remember very clearly, so it is suggested to consult upon your arrival in Changting.
For booking a hostel in Snow Town, I think Zhang Licheng's hostel is reliable and you may try to google for more information.
