About:Chinese Embassy in Malta

i am going to meet my friend in china, i understand i need a L type visa.

Good morning i am going to meet my friend in china and will not be staying in a hotel. would i need anything else other then my flight booking to Nanning?

You need an invitation letter from your friend and a copy of his/her Chinese ID.
