About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

visit Shenzhen from Hong Kong.

I'm an US citizen, just got a Chinese visa, if I purchase ticket go to Hong Kong first, then enter China Shenzhen do I need a Hong Kong visa or special permitt?

Hi, you enjoy free entry to HK with US passport, so it is ok for you to visit HK first then enter Shenzhen from there.
