From Kunming to Dali, it is suggested to take a overnight train, so that you can visit the Dali ancient town the next morning. From Dali to Lijiang, it is suggested to take a local bus. It is very convenient.

From entrance of Lijiang ancient town, you can find find the airport shuttle bus to the Lijiang airport, where you can take a flight to CD. From CD to SH, it is suggested to fly directly, which costs less time.

Traveling among Lijiang area such as the Shangri, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and so on, it is suggested to hire a local car.

For the monestary, do you refer to the Songzanlin Monastery? If so, one day is too tight for a well traveling. If time is possible, it is suggested to spend more days there.
