It is still the summer time for Taipei with an average temperature around 25 to 30C. So the summer clothes are enough.
Besides, Sep is still the local typhoon season, so you need to pay attention to the latest weather forecast to check whether you need to re-arrange your trip or not.
If possible, it is suggested to go to visit in Nov.
