About:China Private Visit Visa

What visa type can my mum apply and stay here atleast 6 months and do we have to buy a return ticket for her?

I want to invite my mom here in china ( i married a chinese but we married in my country because of my young age and now i am pregnant i will gave birth soon) we planned to invite my mom here in china/shanghai to take care of me.

Hi, your mum is able to apply for family visit S2 type for a stay about 6 months. So you can just send her an invitation letter, copies of your passport and residence permit, and a photocopy of certification showing your relationship of family member (for example, your birth certificate) is required for her application.

Yes, it is possible to extend it for another 6 months.
