About:

Overnight TRAIN D-313 from beijing to shanghai (19.34-07.15)

upon arrival, how to go from shanghai station to The Bund?

From the SH Railway Station, you can take the local subway line 5 to reach People's Square Station and then change to subway line 2 to get to East Nanjing Road Station. Then you can walk out of the station and then walk to the Bund easily.

I re-check to the subway map, do you meant to say LINE 1 instead of Line 5 ?

Yes, you are right. It should be subway line 1 from the train station to People's Square.
