About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

12 hours stop over in Gouangzhou

I am German and will fly from hanoi -Gouangzhou - Amsterdam. I have 12 hours in Gouangzhou , can i apply for the 72 hours Visa? Can i do it on arrival or do i have to inform China Southern?

If your stopover is 12 hours only, you just need to apply for a stay permit after arrival at the airport showing your passport and ticket for leaving.
