Hi,I am coming SH to learn Chinese for 5 months. Kindly suggest me what is the best way for students to travel in SH.Do they offer any discounts on transportation for students and can i get monthly pass and how much it will costThank you

It is hard to tell how much you will cost for transportation in SH. For transportation, there is no monthly travel pass or transportation tickets, so you may need to get a local transportation card in the city if you want to stay there for five monthes. For students in SH, you are advised to use the local subway or public buses to travel. As I know, for Chinese local students, they can get a discount by using the transportation card, but not sure about whether it is the same situation for foreign students.
