Pen mark on my visa at immigration

I just entered China on 180 days family visit type. While at the airport the immigration officer put a big slash mark with pen on the place where its written 180 days.I didn't knew it that time. When I left shanghai for another city and was just through my passport I noticed the mark.In my previous visit here on a different visa there was nothing of that sort done.

Can anyone point me on what exactly would that mean ?

the immigration officer marked yours with a big slash mark to make a note that you enter already, kindly check the duration and entry as the marking point determine the entrys you did to china base to your visa. That slash mark is a notification or indication mark that you enter already in china bearing with that visa number and to determine if how many entry left or you used up already your entry. Nothing to worry about pertaining to those marks just see to it that you check your entry and duration.

Thanks 1234.Your reply has came as a big relief. About the visa well it's a single entry 180 days stay one.I just got scared when I saw the nice slash against 180days and I thought that the 180 days stay has been now been nulled.

your welcome Ross. Don't you worry of anything it is valid, only they mark it as an indication mark that you already used up your single entry of the said visa you have which is 180 days.

After pen mark in your visa, do you face any problem in immigration? Because I had same issue in visa. Please advice, I suppose to go end of these month.

@Rao, was the mark a mistake? Do you have entries left? It sounds like you may need a new visa if yours is used up.

Thank you CDKING your prompt reply. Recently I traveled India to Malaysia for holiday trip and I back to India after spent one week there. I had other visa on my pass port for work to North Africa, and I suppose to travel 3rd week of these month. the immigration officer(India) put one line with blue pen mark and I didn’t knew that time. When I reah Malaysia I noticed my passport. I already worked same country last 10 years. Due to security reasons I left 2015 in October, again they issued new visa on November 8th to continue my services. Please advice and these visa valid until 7/01/2018, can I travel or not, otherwise need to be required new one?
I don’t know the pen mark was the mistake or intentionally they put and what is the reason and meaning. Please guide me.
