suitable month to travel with kids to china

Hi, I'm Malaysian.Actually we wanna experience the SNOW but I think kids cant take it, correct me if i'm wrong. ( Kids Age - 5 & 3yrs old)So, We are planning to a short trip to China ( Great wall). Is it advisable to bring kids over here? And which is the suitable month to visit?.. we do not want to travel during the peak season ( just to avoid the crowd)OR can you advice me on this please? .. It is advised to take your kids to travel there, because climbing the Wall is great experience for both you and your kids. If you can avoid the Chinese long holiday, it will not be so crowded. In my opinion, you can travel to that place in middle October. It is neither so cold nor so hot for Beijing. In my opinion, snow is not a big problem for kids if they can wear down jackets. Actually, playing with snow will be wonderful if you are from tropical areas.
