About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Would I still be able to apply for a q1 visa with my passport expiration date?

My passport expires next year on April 6 and I know when I apply for the q1 type, it will last for a whole year. I plan on leaving at the end of May, so it ends next year on May after my passport expires. Would I still be able to use this passport?

If you apply with your current passport, I am afraid that you may not get a one year Q1 type. If possible, get a new passport and then apply for the Q1 type. In this way, you won't be worried about those potential problems in the future.
